Several area colleges use our facilities for their college classes and the camp is open year round for church, civic, sports, and business groups for training, team building, conferences, and just fun outdoor activities. Lawhorn Scout Base is a modern canoe base with over 60 canoes, training pavilions, kitchen, central shower facility, COPE course, Mt. Osmose rappel tower, Carolina Climbing Tower, a climbing Spire, an indoor horizontal climbing wall, a natural rock face cliff -- Dripping Rock, and of course the majestic Flint River which runs for three and a half miles along our western boundary.
