Fall Recruitment
As we provide a program for our new 1st–5th grades boys during this fall Membership Drive, we ask that you plan now to provide current information about your unit for them to join. Flyers, yard signs, posters, and commitment cards are available to ensure roundup success! Contact Membership Chairman, Terry Robertson or your District Director for more information.
Popcorn Reminder
Chairperson Melissa Barfield is encouraging all units to ask every boy within your Pack, Troop, and Crew to sell popcorn to raise money for their unit’s budget. Take order product will arrive November 12 for distribution. If you have questions, contact Melissa Barfield or Michelle Norris.
Training Update
Encourage all your adults to attend a training course that is convenient for their schedule in any district within the Flint River Council. Contact Training Chair, Debbie Harvey for more information and review the calendar or website for upcoming dates and events.
Internet Recharter
Our Commissioner Staff is trained to assist you in completing your recharter. Internet Recharter is done online and we encourage all units to complete their recharter on or by the 15th day of your unit rechartering month. Contact District Commissioner, Mike Katona.
Family FOS Plans
Family FOS Chair, Dave DeSantis will be contacting all units asking for a date, time and place to conduct a presentation within your unit in promoting the 2009 Family Friends of Scouting Campaign. During last year’s campaign we had 100% unit participation and raised 107% of the Family District goal. Congratulations to the units in our District for your strong support in funding our boy’s program.
