Venture Leader Training

This training introduces the new adult crew leader to Venturing by providing basic information needed to successfully operate a crew. This information includes the purpose and mission of Venturing, characteristics of Venturer-aged youth, organization and leadership of the crew, and program planning and officer training.

When: Saturday, October 25, 2008, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Who: Venture Crew Leaders, Scoutmasters with Venture Patrols, Church Youth Leaders

Where: Downstairs Training Room, Tilman T. Blakeley Service Center, 1361 Zebulon Road, Griffin

Cost: $15.00 per person. Includes lunch, Venture Leader Manual and other training materials.

Venture Leader Youth Protection will also be covered. To register, mail in the Registration Form.
